West Monroe is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Monroe County, Michigan.[2] The community is a part of Monroe Charter Township on the south banks of the River Raisin.[2] The community borders Monroe proper and is located about three miles southwest of downtown.[2] The population was 3,893 during the 2000 census.[3]
